David Menegon stands with NYC labor unions and workers and will fight to preserve the right to work places safety under NYS Labor Law 240, otherwise known as the Scaffold law. The law has been under attack in Albany.

David believes that the Scaffold law is essential to ensuring the safety of workers on NYC's most dangerous job sites. In it's current form, the law holds contractors and developers fully accountable for its workers safety, allowing workers to seek legal action if they are harmed on a job site in which a contractor is found to sacrifice worker safety to cut costs. David believes that that the preservation of the law is particularly important as there are many laborers working on scaffold sites throughout the district.

The Scaffold law has protected workers for the past 130 years. David will ensure that building developers and contractors will continue to be held fully accountable under the law.
